How To Get Traffic To Your Website For Fr-ee - Part 1

There are many ways you can get traffic or leads to your website without paying out lots of your hard earned money. Starting out my husband and I spent thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) on driving traffic to our website without alot of paid results. Now, don't get me wrong.....some paid traffic generation programs have their place but even those can be costly if you do not know how to work the system instead of the systems working you.

1. Forums:
A forum is a large group, club, and/or a community where you can go to join in on web discussions to network, ask questions, get help on specific topics, etc. These web discussions are grouped into categories according to their topic of interest and wished-for audiences. You can participate in discussions by posting messages on a web forum (that is relevant to your topic of interest) and replying to messages already posted.

The best way to use a forum to drive fr-ee traffic is to try to find a networking community aka "forum" that has at least 5-10K members or more in order for the time taken to participate in a forum will be worth your time. Anything smaller than that becomes tedious and there are not enough people to converse with or help.

Take an hour a day 5 days a week and focus on helping people that have questions in your area of business. You are not allowed to promote any products, services or websites on these sites but you are allowed to enter your website within your signature profile as alot of forums require you to register for free in order to network. When you help people they usually want more information from you so they will then go to your website listed within your signature.

For example: My website is www.workathomewealthteam.com and so I type into the google search box "work from home forums". Then sign up for fr-ee and get started helping people that need it. They will be so appreciative just sit back and feel like you've done a great deed for the day while watching your traffic increase.

Working Out of Your Home Guidelines

Do you wake up every morning with that feeling of dread? Do you miss your college years when you actually thought that you had a say in your own life?

It has come to my realization that although you may think you're alone, different or just an outsider, in acuality you are acting just like everyone else. So this brings me to my first point:

1. You And Only You Have Your Knowledge And Experience

You have something special on the inside of you. If you are not sharing your something special with the world then there is an injustice. You were raised pre-programmed to speak, think and act just as everyone else. The outcome of everyone being programmed to be a certain way has led to an epidemic of fear. You are afraid to do or say anything that is against the norm. You are afraid to follow your dreams because you were told that your dreams are impossible. It is time for you to realize that dreams can only be fulfilled when you're uncomfortable or looking outside the box.

There is no one better than you. Everyone has dreams and potential on the inside of them. Everyone needs information that everyone else has. So make a decision to understand how much the world needs you. Wake up and realize how much you're needed. Hurry up...the world is waiting.

2. Only You Can Make The Decision To Change Your Life

In high school or college did you have big dreams of becoming an advertising executive, biochemist, engineer, spy, being as famous as Oprah, or event being on Oprah's show? Graduation finally comes and a job finally comes your way but after a few months, you just feel cheated?

The impression that my friends and I had about getting a career was one for the movies. Not one chance do you get to decide anything completely for yourself. Instead you get paid what your boss thinks you're worth, you get to know your co-workers better than your family and you have to ask permission to go on a well deserved vacation. The only way your life will ever change is if you Decide to change it! So take a moment............make the decision.........and lets get started! The decision may be to make a change, get a better job or just work for yourself. Any of the above is acceptable in certain circumstances as long as you feel freedom!

How To Add Stat Counter To Your Webpage

How To Add a Free Visible & Invisible Web Counter To Your Webpage Using Stat Counter and Front Page

If you have a webpage then you definitely need something keeping track of your hits/visits. Below is detailed instructions on how to add a web counter called StatCounter to your webpage. There are others to choose from but this one is the one that I use and have found it Free, Fast and Reliable.

• Go to www.statcounter.com

• Sign up and/or log in

• Click on the “Add New Project” tab and you will have a screen appear like the below image:

• Fill out the information on the form and then click “Next”.
*Tip: Normally I set my “Maximum Visit Length” to 6 Hours, Keep a “Log Size” of 500 and leave the “IP Blocking” and the “Public Stats” blank and unchecked.

• Now you should be on a page that has a big blue arrow reading "Configure & Install Code". Go ahead and click on the blue “Configure & Install Code” arrow.

• Now you should be on a page that asks “What Kind of StatCounter Code Do You Need”. *Tip: I prefer to be the only person allowed to track my visits so I always check the “Invisible Counter” space and then click “Next”.

• Now you should be on the page that allows you to enter what type of web page editor you use and then click “Next”. *Tip: I use Front Page 2000 as my web page editor because it allows me to bypass a lot of Html code but there are free ones that you can use to build/edit your webpage

• Now you should be on the “StatCounter code page”. Copy ALL of the code that is inside the box.

• Now go to your web page editor and pull up your web page that you want to add the counter too. Click on the “HTML” tab, scroll down to the bottom of the HTML codes and paste the code right before the body tag.

• Save the document.

• Then go to Filezilla and upload the new page so it will update online.

• Then you should be able to go back into Stat Counter and see your tracking results under your Project Name.

Dealing With The Fear of Running Your Own Business

Fear is the main reason that only 1% of the population obtains 99% of the wealth. Fear is the number one reason that people fail. Most of them decide to fail before they even start and the rest run scared at the first sign of resistance. The truth is that you're not alone...everyone has been afraid but not everyone is willing to face their fears consistently which has been the key to most successes. There are things that you can do to change your fears or make them seem less scary but you have to be willing to take that first step which is making a decision. Make a decision today and take action!

Once you make a decision to change or expand your horizons by taking action against fear, you will be that much closer to break through. The only way I have obtained major break through is pushing ahead into the unknown.

Here are a couple of tips to help you stay calm along your victorious breakthrough journey!

Tip 1: Control Your Breathing

Have to give a speech or speak in public? In an uncomfortable situation? Learn how to control your breathing. Breathing correctly calms the nervous system and makes you appear and/or sound clear and confident. One technique is to breathe in through your nose for 4 counts, hold your breath for 7 counts, breathe out of your nose for 8counts. Practice doing this until you start to feel calm and can think clearly. This specific breathing technique has been suggested by professionals to help get rid of anxiety attacks or assist you in being released from what I like to call a fear choke hold.

Tip 2: Visualize & Meditate

Do you feel like you're lazy, unworthy, talentless, washed up, etc? Take some time to identify everything that you would like to change about your life. Instead of worrying about what you don't want try to focus on what you do want. Picture yourself daily doing or being everything you wish you were and enjoying those things. Imagine the sounds, smells, desired reaction that you want and watch the situation transform in your mind until you see it tranform in your life.

Here are the important announcements regarding our business. When Donald Barrett first developed the concept of ITV ventures, he thought about selling distributorship's for $50,000. However, he learned that there is a cap for the cost of a home bas-ed busi-ness, which is $500. So he set the price at $499. He has known for years that there are certain price points that trigger easy buying decisions. $499 is not one of them; $299 is. So in reflecting on the success that IBOs have had in enrolling people who call from the infomercial on the FIRST call, he has decided to reduce the cost of the premier package to -- you guessed it -- $299. With the premier package the new IBO receives $400 worth of products at the retail value, the website, access to the business management center. the business in a briefcase, a discount coupon for the next quarterly event (Niagara Falls, May 30 - June 1), and the all new Get Started Fast kit. A special feature is that the new IBO may charge this cost in two payments, $149 plus shipping and handling, and $150, which will be charged 30 days later. Each person you enroll at the premier level earns you a commission of $100 on the product volume sold. Anyone who is not yet on the Home Agent Program (HAP), may enroll immediately. A new HAP starter kit was launched and costs $299. The fee is non-refundable and not transferable. the HAP Starter Kit includes $49.95 background check, $149.95 specific HAP training, one month of rental fees for the patented and protected computer system ($59.95), and 200 universal call credits. That's a value of $450 for just $299! Only those IBOs who have yet to take phone calls may purchase this special package. For those of us who are especially good at retailing products, there are incentives now in place. When you achieve $5000 in personal volume, you qualify for a 15% retailer bonus. That means that you'll receive 15%. For example, the next $1000 in volume you produce nets you $150 bonus check. When you obtain $10,000 in personal volume in any given month, you'll receive a 30% bonus. The person volume includes your automatic assurance sales (OAP). To reward the trailblazers who are fueling the growth of ITV Ventures in a big way, a new Presidential Platinum designation was created. The individual who achieves this level of productivity will receive $1500 per month car allowance and $5000 per month house allowance. Although you cannot take advantage of the next offers presented, I'm sharing them so that you realize that people who participate by going to the event or watching the streaming video get special rewards. Attendees could buy call credits for 90 cents. If attendees purchased 5 months of HAP, they received a 6th month FRE-E and could buy call credits for 85 cents. If attendees purchased 10 months of HAP, they received 1 months FREE and could buy call credits for 75 cents. Finally, attendees could receive FRE-E biz op calls. Jay Kordich, the Juice King, also made an appearance and will be represented by ITV in the near future. He has a new book and juicing machine. In the expo area, there were other products featured including Wafer Thin System, Naked Minerals, VegiCal. The last speaker was John Gray, author of Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus. He just signed a 5-year contract with ITV. How exciting is that?! John's books and tapes and CDs are easily recognized by Home Shopping Network customers. Now we'll represent him. He has a new book being released January 22. Again for attendees, he offered us discounted prices on his weekend workshops that are held monthly, and he gave away a full set of all his educational products with each enrollment. Consistency helps. I'll never forget when Blain Athorn, co-founder of BEST, our training and education vendor, gave a scenario of getting just 5 new customers a week. It didn't seem like much work was required or much expense. Yet, by year's end, the IBO had over 250 customers. With each one providing just $20 in commissions per month, the IBO was making $5000 a month. That doesn't take into account the over-rides we earn from our downline, nor the new incentive bonus that comes from generating $5000 or more in personal volume each month. Blain actually started the event with this message: I will persist until I succeed. I will persist. I will win. Because ITV has been around for 8 years, we may forget that ITV Ventures is barely a year old and still in transition. I know you have a dream or you wouldn't have enrolled. Get in touch with that dream. Make it more vivid. Then decide today that NOTHING will keep you from achieving it.
