There are many ways you can get traffic or leads to your website without paying out lots of your hard earned money. Starting out my husband and I spent thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) on driving traffic to our website without alot of paid results. Now, don't get me wrong.....some paid traffic generation programs have their place but even those can be costly if you do not know how to work the system instead of the systems working you.
1. Forums:
A forum is a large group, club, and/or a community where you can go to join in on web discussions to network, ask questions, get help on specific topics, etc. These web discussions are grouped into categories according to their topic of interest and wished-for audiences. You can participate in discussions by posting messages on a web forum (that is relevant to your topic of interest) and replying to messages already posted.
The best way to use a forum to drive fr-ee traffic is to try to find a networking community aka "forum" that has at least 5-10K members or more in order for the time taken to participate in a forum will be worth your time. Anything smaller than that becomes tedious and there are not enough people to converse with or help.
Take an hour a day 5 days a week and focus on helping people that have questions in your area of business. You are not allowed to promote any products, services or websites on these sites but you are allowed to enter your website within your signature profile as alot of forums require you to register for free in order to network. When you help people they usually want more information from you so they will then go to your website listed within your signature.
For example: My website is www.workathomewealthteam.com and so I type into the google search box "work from home forums". Then sign up for fr-ee and get started helping people that need it. They will be so appreciative just sit back and feel like you've done a great deed for the day while watching your traffic increase.
